Wrinkled Time

That long walk on
the other side
in this present
physical lifetime
somehow FEELS
like lifetimes ago.
Schizophrenia
makes everything
slip and slide
around in time
like cheap vodka.
I used to think I
was alone.
I was repeating the path
in an ancient groove.
I have made friends with
white light beings
who sometimes
hold my hands
and stroke my hair
coaxing me out of
the HOLE.
Thank you,
my friends.
You can get
much higher
without drugs.
You can invisibly float
and only be seen to those who
truly need you.
